Composer Steven Snowden writes music for a wide variety of formats including theater, dance, film, multimedia installations, and the concert stage. Along with composition, Snowden enjoys performing and promoting new music for horn, as well as constructing instruments from found objects for use in electro-acoustic improvisation and interdisciplinary collaboration. Snowden received his master’s degree in composition at the University of Colorado at Boulder and he is currently pursuing his DMA at the University of Texas at Austin where he studies with Russell Pinkston and Yevgeniy Sharlat.
